The Master's in Management and Technology at TUM School of Management equips students to work at the interface of business and technical disciplines. The programme is designed for graduates who already hold an interdisciplinary background in management and technology, as well as for those rooted in pure management studies seeking to add technical knowledge. Students select one specialisation from a management area — options include Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Finance and Accounting, Energy Markets, Life Sciences Management and Policy, and Economics and Econometrics — and one from a technology area, choosing between Chemistry, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Informatics, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Sustainable Energies. Each technology track can be taken as either a minor or a major depending on existing knowledge. The programme runs over four semesters and begins in either the winter or summer semester. The first three semesters combine core specialisation modules with elective courses, and the fourth semester is reserved for the Master's thesis. Students may start in winter (application period 1 April to 31 May) or summer (1 November to 30 November). The programme is offered at the Technical University of Munich in Munich.
