Master's in Teaching (MAT)

With an MAT in general education, you can become an elementary, middle or high school teacher. One- and two-year programs are available online and we also offer a special residency pathway to an MAT in partnership with Arbor School. The MAT in Special Education, an online program, prepares you as a K-12 special education teacher and includes practicum placements in your local school district. Courses are primarily online, with optional face-to-face coursework at either Forest Grove or Eugene campuses.
