The practical and seminar component includes two seminars in which students work with scientific literature and practice communicating mathematical content, as well as an internship in either an industrial or an internal setting. Students may also choose an optional profile area drawing on modules from a different subject area where mathematical thinking applies. The programme concludes with a Master's thesis addressing research-related problems. Students may also sit exams in German. The programme runs over four semesters with entry in either the winter or summer semester. Students should have been awarded at least 144 ECTS points at the time of application.
