The Master's programme in Mathematics at Dresden University of Technology is research-oriented and provides a strong mathematical education within a collaborative environment. The programme treats mathematics both as a discipline for developing critical thinking and as the language underlying the natural sciences and technology, making it relevant to basic and industrial research and development as well as to a wide range of application areas. The programme runs over four semesters and begins in either the winter or summer semester. Students benefit from a high degree of flexibility in course selection, allowing them to shape their own scientific specialisation, and they may also choose non-mathematical minor subjects to broaden their profile. The programme is designed for students who already hold a first university degree in mathematics. It is offered at Dresden University of Technology in Dresden, Germany.
