The MBA and Engineering in Life Science Management at HTW Berlin is a three-semester programme aimed at engineers, natural scientists, business managers, and industrial engineers who want to combine industry-specific scientific knowledge with management expertise for the international life science sector. The programme is taught entirely in English and is designed to help graduates take on positions with greater responsibility in an international professional environment. The curriculum covers topics across the full life science value chain. In the first two semesters, students complete twelve study modules covering areas such as special topics in business administration, project management for production processes, corporate finance and controlling, life science engineering, human resources management and leadership, regulatory affairs and clinical trial management, strategic marketing in life sciences, and a range of practical application projects. The third semester is dedicated to a colloquium, Master's seminar, and the Master's thesis, alongside elective modules in areas including advanced processes in life science industries, new technologies and products, business ethics and corporate governance, and intellectual property management. The programme partners with companies in the life science industry for practical and research work. Over 96% of graduates are employed within three months of graduation, according to programme data.
