The MBA in Financial Management at Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts is a four-semester, full-time programme taught entirely in English. It covers corporate finance, financial markets, treasury and risk management, and financial accounting, alongside broader management subjects including human resource management and leadership, international tax and legal systems, intercultural management and ethics, business strategy and international marketing, and information and communication systems. The programme includes an internship of approximately five months at an index-listed company in Europe or Germany, completed during the third semester, as well as hands-on application and transfer courses. Students also participate in field trips to companies and an academic excursion to a European financial centre. A Bloomberg Lab is available for data work and students can obtain Bloomberg Certification. Elective modules allow further specialisation in areas such as AI applications in finance, applied risk management, financial derivatives, sustainable finance, mergers and acquisitions, and others. The programme also includes A2 German language instruction. Optional dual degrees with partner universities in Australia and India are available without extending the standard programme length. The programme carries an annual tuition fee of EUR 7,800 and starts in both winter and summer semesters. It is based at Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Coburg, Bavaria, Germany.
