Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering

For Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, tuition comes to 2,400 USD per year.

Mechanical Engineering deals with the design, analysis, and manufacturing of mechanical systems, spanning topics such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, machine design, and manufacturing processes. Students build a foundation in mathematics and physics before advancing into subjects like dynamics, control systems, and computer-aided design. Laboratory work often includes testing of materials and mechanical components, along with design projects that require applying theory to practical engineering problems. Many programs allow students to focus on areas such as automotive systems, energy, robotics, or manufacturing during later years of study. Graduates typically enter industries including automotive, manufacturing, energy, and aerospace, or pursue further studies at the graduate level. This bachelor's program is offered by Middle East Technical University, located in Ankara, Turkey, a state university, and instruction is conducted in English across 4 years. The curriculum balances theoretical coursework with hands-on laboratory and project work intended to build practical engineering competence. Ankara's concentration of technical institutions and industry can provide a useful backdrop for internships and applied learning during the program.
