The Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma is a full- or part-time on-campus program that takes two years to complete. It covers how machines move, how heat transfers, and how to improve systems for safety, efficiency, and sustainability. The program prepares graduates for careers in mechanical design, automation, robotics, and manufacturing.

Students work on real-world design projects, learn to use CNC equipment, and develop skills in technical communication and teamwork. The curriculum includes hands-on labs, problem-solving tasks, and collaborative work. A capstone project applies knowledge to practical challenges.

Graduates are ready to work as mechanical engineering technologists or design technologists. With experience, they can become Certified Engineering Technologists. The program is accredited by Technology Accreditation Canada and recognized across Canada.
