Makine Mühendisliği

Mechanical engineering covers the design, analysis, and manufacturing of mechanical systems, spanning topics such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, machine design, and manufacturing processes. Coursework typically includes mathematics and physics foundations, computer-aided design, statics and dynamics, control systems, and laboratory work applying these principles to physical systems. Students often complete design projects that involve building or simulating mechanical components or systems. The discipline underlies a wide range of industries, from automotive and aerospace to energy and consumer products. Graduates find roles as design engineers, manufacturing engineers, maintenance engineers, and technical consultants across manufacturing, energy, and industrial sectors. This bachelor's program runs 4 years and is taught in English at Istanbul Beykent University in İstanbul, Turkey. İstanbul's manufacturing and industrial base provides context for coursework and potential internship placements in mechanical and production engineering. The English-medium format allows international students to pursue a mechanical engineering degree recognized across a global job market. Over the four-year sequence, students build from core mathematics and mechanics courses toward specialized topics such as thermodynamics and machine design, finishing with a capstone project that applies these skills to a mechanical engineering problem.
