Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering

At Özyeğin University, tuition fees are 25,000 USD per year.

This bachelor's program in Mechanical Engineering covers the design, analysis, and manufacturing of mechanical systems, including machines, engines, structures, and thermal and fluid systems. Coursework typically spans engineering mathematics, statics and dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, and machine design, combined with computer-aided design and manufacturing tools. Students learn to apply engineering principles to solve practical problems in areas such as automotive systems, energy conversion, robotics, and manufacturing processes. Graduates work in automotive, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, and consulting industries, taking on roles in product design, production engineering, and systems analysis, or continue into graduate studies in specialized mechanical or related engineering fields. At Özyeğin University in İstanbul, Turkey, this program is delivered in English over 4 years. The curriculum progresses from fundamental mathematics and physics courses to applied subjects like mechanics of materials, heat transfer, and manufacturing engineering, often supported by laboratory and design project work. İstanbul's industrial base provides access to companies across manufacturing, automotive, and energy sectors for internships and collaborative projects. By the end of the 4-year program, students are equipped with both theoretical grounding and practical design experience relevant to mechanical engineering careers.
