Mechanical Techniques

This programme prepares technicians to repair and maintain mechanical equipment. Students learn to diagnose and solve mechanical problems through practical and theoretical training. The curriculum covers preventive maintenance, mechanical systems, and the use of specialized tools. Graduates are ready for roles in industrial and mechanical engineering sectors.

2 semesters, on campus, no co-op or practicum stated.

Graduates enter careers as machine tool set up operators or industrial mechanics.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma, ACE certificate, or equivalent. One French credit and one mathematics credit required. English language proficiency test required if OSSD not obtained.

On-campus, full-time, 2 semesters.
