Students also study automation of construction machinery and equipment, the basics of electro-mechanical hybrid power trains, smart structures, and autonomous vehicles. Graduates can pursue careers in the automotive industry, electronics, and automation and robotics companies, as well as in green and energy-efficient sectors of the economy such as transport and energy, working on the design, manufacturing, maintenance and supervision of machines and vehicles. Mechatronics as a discipline brings together mechanical, electrical and computer engineering to build integrated intelligent systems.
