Bachelor in Mechatronic systems and materials

Tuition is 7,320 EUR per year; the deadline to apply for the Oct 2027 intake is Jul 21, 2027.

Warsaw University of Technology, based in Warszawa, offers Mechatronic systems and materials as a bachelor's program taught in English, running three semesters with yearly tuition of 7320 EUR. The program trains engineers to meet the challenges of designing, operating and servicing modern vehicles across the automotive and construction machinery markets, giving students multidisciplinary knowledge and the ability to use computer-aided tools for the design, production, operation and recycling of machines. Practical classes and laboratory work also cover environmental protection as it relates to the operation and mechatronic control of automobiles, tractors, special-purpose vehicles, and construction machinery and equipment. The curriculum aims to give graduates skills spanning vehicle mechanics, diagnostics and safety. Course modules include computer manufacturing technology, mechatronics systems design, mechatronic sensor and actuator systems, automation systems, vehicle information systems, vehicle recycling, and vehicle mechatronics. Students also study automation of construction machinery and equipment, the basics of electro-mechanical hybrid power trains, smart structures, and autonomous vehicles. Graduates can pursue careers in the automotive industry, electronics, and automation and robotics companies, as well as in green and energy-efficient sectors of the economy such as transport and energy, working on the design, manufacturing, maintenance and supervision of machines and vehicles. Mechatronics as a discipline brings together mechanical, electrical and computer engineering to build integrated intelligent systems. Programs in this field combine theory with hands-on laboratory work, preparing graduates for roles in manufacturing, robotics, product development and systems integration across industries that increasingly rely on sensors, automation and embedded control to run machinery efficiently and safely.
