Mechatronika

At Warsaw University of Technology, tuition is 7,050 EUR per year, and applications for the Oct 2027 intake are open until Jul 21, 2027.

Warsaw University of Technology in Warszawa offers Mechatronics as a bachelor's program taught in English over seven semesters, with yearly tuition of 7050 EUR. Within this program, the university runs a full-time first-cycle profile in Photonics Engineering, developed to provide education in optomechatronics, particularly the building of optical and optoelectronic equipment and its use in opto-numerical inspection methods such as holographic cameras, spectrometers, multimedia devices and multi-functional interferometers for testing objects at different scales, from microelements of MEMS/MOEMS type to large engineering structures. Students gain knowledge of the engineering fundamentals behind designing, manufacturing, testing and operating optomechatronic systems and devices. Course modules include material engineering and computer techniques, engineering graphics, fundamentals of electronics and electrotechnics, and strength of materials. Students also study the design of fine mechanisms using CAD and optomechatronics, the basics of photonics, instrumental optics, optoelectronics technology and image processing, laser techniques, machine vision, fiber optics technology for telecommunications and sensors, photonics devices and systems, and lighting technology. Graduates are prepared for work in industry and small and medium-sized enterprises, ready to tackle engineering problems, and can support services built around optomechatronics equipment used in fields including multimedia, medicine, lighting and metrology. Mechatronics as a wider discipline merges mechanical, electrical, optical and computer engineering to build integrated systems, and graduates from programs in this area typically move into roles in instrumentation design, sensor development, and technical support across manufacturing, healthcare technology and consumer electronics sectors.

Warsaw University of Technology is the premier technical research university in Poland, combining a rich 200-year history with cutting-edge innovation. It is consistently ranked as the top engineering school in the country, attracting the brightest minds from across the globe.
