Bachelor in Mechatronics

For Bachelor in Mechatronics, tuition comes to 3,450 EUR per year.

AGH University of Krakow offers Mechatronics as a bachelor's program delivered in English, running seven semesters (3.5 years) with yearly tuition of 3450 EUR. Mechatronic engineering at AGH is an interdisciplinary program built from basic courses such as mathematics and physics, major courses covering mechanics, control theory, computer science and electronics, and specialty courses. The specialty and major courses address computer-aided engineering techniques, virtual prototyping, elements of modern control, and the basics of robotics, and students learn methods and tools for analyzing, synthesizing and integrating mechatronic systems. The first-cycle program is designed to build engineering knowledge as both theoretical background and practical problem-solving ability, with laboratory and project classes giving students hands-on engineering experience. Graduates are prepared to work in interdisciplinary teams that design, manufacture and operate mechatronic systems, and the program's interdisciplinary grounding helps graduates communicate with other engineers when solving complex, practical engineering problems. Career paths include design units, research and development institutions, and companies that manufacture or use mechatronic devices. Graduates are also prepared to continue their studies at master's level, including at AGH's Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics, which offers a second-cycle continuation. Mechatronics more broadly combines mechanical, electrical and software engineering to create automated and intelligent systems, from industrial robots to consumer devices. Programs in this field train students in sensor integration, control systems and embedded programming, opening career paths across manufacturing, robotics and automation industries, where demand for engineers able to bridge multiple technical disciplines continues to grow.

AGH University of Krakow is one of the best and most renowned modern Polish universities, consistently ranking high among Polish technical universities. For years, it has been a leader in innovation and a key partner for international research and industry.
