Mediation

The Mediation Certificate Program is designed for professionals working in employee-oriented mediation and counseling. This program, offered at the Hochschule der Bundesagentur für Arbeit since November 2016, spans two semesters and is limited to 80 participants per cohort. Ideal for those with at least two years of relevant experience, this program provides a structured approach to enhancing mediation skills.

Participants will engage in mandatory modules focusing on target group-specific counseling and understanding professional biographies and competencies. The curriculum emphasizes practical application, allowing students to reflect on their experiences and develop a deeper understanding of the counseling process. Additionally, students can choose an elective module to specialize in either the future of work or participation in working life.

Graduates of this program can pursue various roles such as Employment Counselor, Career Advisor, or Mediator in different sectors. They may find opportunities within government agencies, non-profits, or private organizations focused on employment services.
