Master in Medical Informatics (MSc)

Medical Informatics at the University of Tübingen is an interdisciplinary programme that addresses the systematic management, storage, processing, and provision of data, information, and knowledge in medicine and healthcare. Alongside computer science foundations, the curriculum covers principles and methods from human medicine and the natural sciences. Graduates are trained to develop, apply, and manage computational tools for a broad range of medical questions, working alongside healthcare professionals. The programme runs for 4 semesters and is available for entry in both winter and summer semesters. Course areas include Biomedical Informatics, Medicine and Medical Technology, Computer Science, Advanced Medical Informatics, Research Practice in Medical Informatics, and Advanced Bioinformatics. Students can complete the entire programme in English by selecting English-taught modules from the available offerings. Tuition fees are EUR 3,000 per year.
