This 20-week certificate program prepares individuals to work in healthcare settings. It covers managing patient records, supporting medical staff, and handling clerical tasks. Students complete 120 hours of hands-on work-integrated learning in real healthcare environments across Lethbridge and surrounding areas. The program runs full-time with classroom instruction and practical placements.

Courses include medical terminology, health administration, patient records, medical order entry, workplace communication, and computer use. These courses build skills for daily operations in clinics, hospitals, and long-term care facilities. A final practicum course places students in a healthcare setting to apply knowledge under supervision.

The program starts in September. It is only available to domestic students. It does not qualify international students for a Post-Graduation Work Permit. Tuition and fees are estimated at $3,701 for domestic students and $12,701 for international applicants. Applicants must meet general admission requirements and demonstrate English proficiency.
