Bachelor in Medicine

At Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University, tuition is 12,250 USD per year.

Medicine trains students to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness, combining foundational science with clinical training across the human body's systems. Early coursework typically covers anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, histology, and pharmacology, while later years shift toward clinical rotations in areas such as internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and psychiatry, usually conducted in hospital or clinical settings under supervision. Students are trained in patient examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning, alongside the ethical and communication skills required for clinical practice. Graduates of medical programs typically go on to postgraduate specialty training before practicing as physicians in hospitals, clinics, or research settings, and the degree can also lead to careers in medical research or public health. This program lasts 6 years, awarded at the bachelor level, and is taught in English at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University in İstanbul, Turkey. The university's affiliation with clinical and hospital facilities in İstanbul provides students with exposure to patient care settings throughout their studies. Instruction in English is intended to prepare graduates for medical practice and further training in international healthcare environments.
