Bachelor in Medicine

For Bachelor in Medicine, tuition fees are 5,000 USD per year.

Medicine trains students to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness through a curriculum that begins with foundational sciences such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and pharmacology before moving into clinical training across specialties including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, and psychiatry. Students progress from lecture-based coursework and laboratory work into supervised clinical rotations in hospital and clinic settings, where they practice patient examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning under the guidance of practicing physicians. The program builds skills in clinical reasoning, patient communication, and evidence-based decision-making. Graduates typically pursue further postgraduate training and licensing to practice as physicians, and may go on to specialize in fields such as surgery, family medicine, cardiology, or public health, working in hospitals, clinics, and research institutions. This is a 6 year bachelor's degree taught in English at Istanbul Okan University in İstanbul, Turkey. The program combines rigorous scientific training with hands-on clinical exposure, reflecting the extended timeline typically required for medical education to prepare graduates for the responsibilities of patient care.
