Bachelor in Medicine

Medicine is the study and practice of diagnosing, treating, and preventing illness, combining rigorous biomedical science with extensive clinical training. Students begin with foundational coursework in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and pharmacology, developing an understanding of how the human body functions in health and disease. As training advances, students undertake clinical rotations across major specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and psychiatry, working under supervision in hospital and outpatient environments. The length and depth of medical training reflect the scope of knowledge and responsibility involved in patient care, requiring sustained academic effort across both preclinical and clinical years.
