Bachelor in Medieninformatik (Bachelor)

In the first semester, you will dive into Algorithmen und Programmierung 1 and Mathematik 1. This programme will teach you to analyse technological trends and develop media products that are usable and socially relevant. The curriculum includes topics like Mobile Computing, Human-Centered AI, and Visual Computing. Students may choose to spend a semester abroad, or work in industry or research. You will have the option to take a Praxisprojekt mit begleitendem Projektseminar in your final year. Professionals at the TH Köln work with partners such as the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems.

The curriculum includes a Bachelorarbeit and Bachelor Kolloquium in the final year. Your studies will culminate in a project with a Medienprojekt.
