You will spend much of your time in state-of-the-art laboratories, using a dedicated computer suite and simulation software, and working in a virtual control room that mimics a real chemical plant. Weekly you will join a group design project, conduct experiments, and develop computational models of reactors and processes.

The programme is aimed at applicants who have achieved AAA at A-level (including mathematics and chemistry) or an equivalent International Baccalaureate score, and who wish to qualify as chartered engineers with a focus on sustainable chemical engineering.

The course runs in newly renovated £12 million chemistry facilities and offers an optional paid industrial placement year to deepen real-world experience.
