Each week you will combine online lectures and workshops with hands-on skills and simulation days, then spend half of your time on clinical placements. You will carry a small caseload, follow women through antenatal appointments, labour and post-natal care, and use a virtual midwifery caseload to develop decision-making skills.

The programme is aimed at applicants who have achieved ABB at A-level (or equivalent) with a B or above in a science, health or social-science subject, meet GCSE requirements and are at least 18 years old. It suits those who wish to provide safe, person-centred care for women and newborns and are ready for the responsibilities of professional registration.
