Midwifery Short Course - BSc (Hons)

Tuition costs 19,500 GBP per year.

Midwifery addresses the health of women, birthing people and families throughout pregnancy, birth and the early post-natal period. This short course builds on registered nursing experience to develop the specific knowledge and practical skills required of a competent midwife.

The programme runs for 20 months, split evenly between theory and clinical practice, allowing you to spend half the time in university settings and half in supervised placements. A concrete feature is the compulsory module ‘Midwifery Practice 1 and 2’, which provides hands-on experience in real-world maternity settings, supported by case-based learning and skill labs.
