The programme lasts one full-time year. In the first nine months (two semesters) you attend taught modules, receive intensive one-to-one tuition and prepare a recital for a lunchtime or evening performance. The final three months are dedicated to an independent project and a culminating recital. You study performance technique, the history and repertoire of your chosen instrument or voice, presentation and performance-teaching skills, and you can combine performance modules with topics from musicology, composition or music education to personalise the degree.
