The Advanced Program in Change Management at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam invites experienced practitioners to bridge the gap between academic theory and the complex realities of organizational life. Rather than relying on static toolkits, this program encourages participants to critically examine their own underlying assumptions and professional convictions, ultimately building a diverse repertoire of change strategies that can be adapted to specific contexts.

Core Focus Areas

The curriculum is structured around three critical pillars that define modern organizational evolution:

• Strategy, Technology & Change: Navigating the intersection of digital transformation and strategic direction.
• Organizing, Governance & Change: Understanding the structural and leadership dynamics inherent in organizational shifts.
• Learning, Development & Leadership: Cultivating the human capacity for growth and sustainable change management.

Delivered through intensive two-day sessions, this module is designed for those who seek to deepen their expertise and apply sophisticated, evidence-based insights directly to their own professional practice. It represents a significant step in the broader Master of Change Management, offering a rigorous environment for high-level management development.
