Modern industrial challenges demand engineers who can synthesize broad technical knowledge to solve complex, multi-layered problems. The MSc Advanced Mechanical Engineering provides a comprehensive perspective on the field, moving beyond siloed disciplines to integrate materials science, computational analysis, sustainable design, and advanced manufacturing.

This programme is specifically designed for graduates looking to transition into leadership roles within the engineering sector. It emphasizes a project-based approach, ensuring that theoretical concepts—such as finite element simulation, life cycle assessment, and robot programming—are applied to realistic, industry-relevant scenarios. By operating in a multicultural, collaborative environment, students gain a genuine understanding of how modern industrial teams function globally.

Distinctive features of this programme

• Multidisciplinary Group Design Project: Students function as a consultancy, working together to propose, prototype, and present a technical solution to a panel of industry experts.
• Industry-Aligned Curriculum: Developed in consultation with key industry players to ensure graduates possess the skills required for future-proofing designs and optimizing manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on Environment: Access to specialized facilities including dedicated computer labs for CAD, FEA, and LCA, as well as mechanical testing and materials characterization equipment.
