Master in Msc Computing Science Part Time

At University of East Anglia, Norwich, the tuition fee is 25,700 GBP per year.

Tailored specifically for professionals from non-computing backgrounds, this part-time MSc offers a structured yet flexible pathway into the technology sector. Rather than a rigid syllabus, the programme begins with a personalised study plan developed in collaboration with the course director, ensuring the curriculum respects your existing work commitments while providing the necessary technical rigour to pivot your career.

The programme is distinct for its focus on practical application and employability, underpinned by an accreditation from the British Computer Society (BCS) for partial Chartered IT Professional (CITP) status. Students engage in a blend of core and elective modules, ranging from cyber security and machine learning to modern embedded technology, all delivered within a research-active environment in historic Norwich.

Professional Integration

You will not only master technical skills but also develop the professional competencies required for modern computing, including technical writing, project management, and ethics. The culminating dissertation project offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with world-leading academics or industry partners—with potential for paid placements—to solve real-world problems, such as predictive data mining or IoT systems development.
