Applicants who hold a 2:2 honours degree or international equivalent and can provide a portfolio demonstrating an interest in design, technology or creative practice will find this MSc suited to developing interdisciplinary solutions. The programme runs for one year full-time and is split into two semesters that blend theoretical study with practical studio work and a final research-driven project.

In semester one you investigate the social and environmental context of design, mapping complex systems and prototyping responses. Semester two deepens technical expertise in areas such as the Internet of Things, augmented/virtual reality and artificial intelligence while building entrepreneurial and communication skills, culminating in a self-directed final project.
