About the Programme

The MSc in Design Innovation is the first of its kind in Europe, combining a blend of theory and practice to equip students with the necessary skills to emerge as leaders in design innovation. The programme focuses on developing smart, novel, and winning innovation concepts through a unique multi-disciplinary approach. Students will delve into areas such as design, ethnography, psychology, and engineering, which together facilitate the research, acquisition, analysis, and presentation of actionable innovation concepts.

This programme is tailored for individuals aiming to become effective radical innovators, preparing graduates for roles in innovation leadership, management, product management, strategic marketing, market research, and design strategy. Our graduates have successfully transitioned into diverse sectors including design, manufacturing, IT, web design, media, and public services, showcasing the versatility of their training.

Participants from various backgrounds, including social sciences, anthropology, design, computer science, and engineering, are encouraged to apply. We particularly welcome mature applicants through our Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) route, which acknowledges industry experience as a pathway to academic recognition.
