Graduates move into positions such as sustainability manager, biodiversity manager, environmental consultant, corporate sustainability specialist or natural-capital manager in private firms, NGOs, government agencies, or they continue to PhD research.

The MSc is delivered over one full-time year starting in September. The first term covers research skills, dissertation planning, professional and commercial skills and the core theory and practice of managing sustainability. In the second term students select optional modules from environmental science and business, tailoring their study with subjects such as GIS, responsible business, environmental economics and pathways to net-zero before completing a dissertation.

The programme blends scientific understanding with strategic insight and uses case studies, applied projects and a supervised research project to develop practical sustainability expertise.

English Test Requirement

IELTS 6.0 overall with minimum 5.5 in each component
