Programme Overview

Avionics is a broad and fast-growing branch of study within aeronautical and aerospace engineering. The M.Tech in Avionics at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) is a two-year postgraduate engineering programme designed to give in-depth knowledge of avionics, aircraft instrumentation and control, navigation and guidance, UAVs, software safety and security, embedded systems, communication, software simulation, sensors, and antenna design as core and elective courses.

Outcomes

At the end of the course, candidates gain a strong understanding of the major airborne avionic functions and systems, and are able to select appropriate technologies and products for a broad range of functional requirements. Graduates find roles as engineers in aerospace, avionics, and related engineering streams, as entrepreneurs, or pursue higher studies.
