Attestation d'études collégiales (AEC)

The tuition fee is 511 CAD for the whole program.

This programme is for people with a high school diploma who want to work in municipal inspection. It prepares individuals to issue permits and certificates under urban planning rules. Learners will inspect buildings, review plans, and manage compliance issues in municipal or regional settings. The programme supports those already working in related roles who need formal training.

Seven courses are taken online. Each requires 6 to 8 hours per week. Courses cover laws, reading plans, issuing permits, inspecting sites, handling violations, and solving real cases. The programme can be taken full-time or part-time. Classes are offered during the day or evening based on student numbers. All instruction is synchronous and delivered at a distance.

Admission opens in January 2027. A Quebec secondary school diploma is required. Only Canadian citizens and permanent residents may apply. After completing the AEC, individuals can work in municipalities, regional county municipalities, or private inspection firms across Quebec.
