Bachelor in Musikerziehung (B.A.) – Jazz

Graduates of the Jazz programme at Hochschule Osnabrück go on to work in diverse roles, from performing in their own bands and ensembles to teaching in schools and music schools, or leading workshops and groups. The programme is taught by internationally active jazz musicians, including Frederik Köster and Anne Mette Iversen, who are renowned for their excellence and ability to foster individual strengths. The curriculum emphasizes improvisation, encouraging students to develop a stylistically versatile approach to music and pedagogy. Students engage with renowned jazz figures through workshops and performances, gaining practical experience in band coaching, tour organization, and music business through the Institute für Musik (IfM) at the Caprivi Campus in Osnabrück.
