Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics

For Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics, tuition costs 8,000 USD per year.

Nutrition and Dietetics trains students to understand how diet affects health across the lifespan and to translate that understanding into practical dietary guidance. Foundational coursework generally includes anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, and general nutrition science, followed by more applied subjects such as clinical nutrition, community nutrition, and food science. Students often study specific population needs, including nutrition for children, older adults, or people managing chronic conditions, learning to adapt dietary recommendations to different clinical and life circumstances. Supervised practical placements are typically built into the program, giving students structured experience assessing patients or clients and developing nutrition plans under professional guidance. Food service and food safety management are also commonly covered, reflecting the fact that dietitians often work within institutions that prepare food at scale, such as hospitals, schools, or care facilities. Laboratory sessions in food science reinforce classroom material by letting students examine food composition and preparation methods directly. Graduates typically pursue roles as clinical or community dietitians, work in the food industry, or continue their education toward further professional certification, depending on the licensing pathway in their country. This program is delivered in English at Final International University in Girne, Northern Cyprus, and takes 4 years to complete as a bachelor's degree, positioned within an international academic community that supports students from a wide range of countries.
