What is nutritional science?

Nutritional science is a scientific discipline focused on the study of nutrients in food and how the body utilizes these nutrients. It emphasizes the relationship between diet, health, and disease.

This MSc programme is tailored for BSc graduates with a biological sciences background, accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN). Graduates can join the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN) as Registered Associate Nutritionists (ANutr).

Throughout the course, you will deepen your understanding of human nutrition, including macro and micronutrients, energetics, and metabolism.
