Bachelor in Optometrie (Bachelor)

Der Kooperationsstudiengang Optometrie (Bachelor) includes modules such as Kinderoptometrie, Speziallinsen, allgemeine und okuläre Pharmakologie, Pathologie des Auges and Neuroophthalmologie. A practical focus is stressed by the necessary extern Praxisphasen.

The programme is designed to deepen and broaden optometric knowledge and skills, integrating photonics within the Fakultät für Informations-, Medien- und Elektrotechnik.

Students complete teaching blocks at both the TH Köln and the Höherer Fachschule für Augenoptik.
