Oral Health Practitioner Apprenticeship

The Oral Health Practitioner Apprenticeship is designed for individuals seeking to advance their careers in dental health. This program is ideal for those who thrive in hands-on learning environments and wish to gain practical experience while working. Over a duration of 14 months, apprentices will engage in day-release study, allowing them to balance work and education effectively.

Throughout the apprenticeship, students will learn essential skills such as applying fluoride varnish, taking impressions, and conducting oral health assessments. The curriculum includes practical training and theoretical knowledge, preparing students for the End Point Assessment. This program emphasizes the importance of preventive oral health care and equips students with the tools needed to educate various community groups.
