This two-year Ontario College Diploma program is delivered on-campus through in-class theory, online learning, practical courses, simulations, and clinical placements. Students learn emergency care skills, patient assessment, and communication with healthcare teams. The final term includes a 420-hour paramedic practicum with active paramedics. The program prepares students to work in pre-hospital emergency care across Ontario and Canada.

2 years, 60 credits, includes co-op practicum and clinical placements.

Graduates are eligible to write the Ontario A-EMCA exam and may be employed as paramedics in emergency services across Ontario and Canada.

High school diploma or equivalent with English 12 (ENG4C) and Mathematics 12 (MAP4C) at 70% or higher, Biology and Chemistry at 70% or higher. Must pass the AC-HPAT admissions test. International applicants need IELTS 6.5 overall (min 6.0 per band), TOEFL iBT 88 (min 22 per section), or Duolingo 120 (min 120 literacy, no score below 105). Additional documents: First Aid, CPR HCP, criminal record check, and health forms.
