Accredited by Ofsted and the Department for Education, this PGCE Geography programme meets the national standards for teacher training in England and Wales.

The course combines at least 120 days of hands-on teaching experience in two placement schools with focused university study. You will receive 20 days of intensive training, more than 20 days of subject-specific instruction and additional professional studies activities, which develop classroom management, assessment and inclusive teaching skills.

Successful graduates receive a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, qualifying them to teach geography in secondary schools.
