About PGCert Psychological Practitioner in Homelessness

The programme is delivered part-time over one academic year. Teaching takes place one day per week – live online sessions on Mondays – with a further day each week allocated to self-directed study, agreed with the learner’s employer.

A distinctive feature is the close collaboration with the Centre for Homelessness Research and Practice and the Homelessness Community of Practice, which provides guest speakers, cohort meetings and networking events directly linked to current policy and practice.

The course is intended for professionals already working in, or seeking to enter, homelessness services. It assumes a first or upper-second class degree (or equivalent) and benefits those who have direct experience of supporting people without housing.
