Pharmacy technicians prepare and distribute medications in regulated healthcare settings. They work in hospitals and community pharmacies under pharmacist supervision. Their duties include compounding sterile products, dispensing prescriptions, and ensuring medication safety. They also support patient education and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Two-year program with 32 weeks online in year one, 24 weeks online in year two. Includes in-person labs and 40 weeks of work experience in community and hospital pharmacies.

Graduates work as licensed pharmacy technicians in community and hospital pharmacies, regional health authorities, and pharmaceutical distribution companies.

Grade 12 with minimum 70% in Pre-calculus 30 or Calculus 30, Biology 30, Chemistry 30, and a 30-level English Language Arts course. Minimum overall average of 65%. International applicants are not currently considered.

Hybrid delivery: online lectures with in-person labs and clinical placements. Full-time only.
