Led by Professor Csongor Herke, this doctoral programme lets outstanding scholars pursue original research with impact on academia and legal practice. The Faculty of Law's multidisciplinary approach and research method give students the freedom to work across any field of law and related disciplines.

Students complete a research seminar assigned by their supervisor, offered three times during the programme, with at least two documented consultations required each semester, in person or via Skype. The doctorate runs for eight semesters and costs EUR 2,500 per semester, with a EUR 150 application fee.
