PhD Postgraduate research in Law

A distinctive feature of this programme is its three-stage milestone framework – Registration, Progression, and Examination – which structures the research journey and ensures regular assessment. After a conditional offer and supervisor allocation, candidates submit a detailed proposal, undergo an interview, and, once admitted, must present a progress paper within 18 months (full-time) or 36 months (part-time). The final stage combines a thesis with an oral viva, examined by internal and external scholars.
