Bachelor in Physics French Mphys F3Rc

Tuition is 26,800 GBP per year.

This five-year MPhys programme is designed for students who are as passionate about the fundamental laws of the universe—from quantum theory to particle physics—as they are about mastering the French language. By integrating advanced physics with a year of international study in a French-speaking country, the course prepares you to excel in an increasingly globalized scientific landscape.

You will benefit from a research-led environment where faculty are active practitioners in their fields. Beyond theoretical coursework, the programme emphasizes hands-on experimental proficiency. Students gain access to state-of-the-art facilities, including a rooftop observatory and world-leading laser laboratories, ensuring that you develop the practical, computational, and analytical skills necessary for a career in research, industry, or academia.

Distinctive International Integration

The core of this degree is the third-year placement, which offers a transformative opportunity to immerse yourself in a different culture while pursuing physics at an international partner institution. This experience not only cements your language skills but also provides the kind of cross-cultural adaptability highly valued by employers in global scientific collaborations.
