Bachelor in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation

Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation focuses on restoring movement and function for people affected by injury, illness, or disability, drawing on anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic exercise science. Students typically study human anatomy, biomechanics, physiotherapy techniques, rehabilitation methods, and clinical practice, supported by supervised clinical placements. Graduates pursue careers as physiotherapists in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, sports medicine settings, and private practice, or continue into further study in physiotherapy or rehabilitation sciences. This bachelor program runs for 4 years and is taught in English at Eastern Mediterranean University, located in Gazimağusa, Northern Cyprus. As with related programs at the university, clinical training is paired with coursework in anatomy and movement science to prepare graduates for physiotherapy practice.
