Ontario College Diploma

This program prepares students for careers in law enforcement, including municipal, provincial, and federal police services, private security, and special constable roles. Students learn the fundamentals of police investigation, community policing, and legal procedures. The curriculum emphasizes communication, ethics, and interpersonal skills needed in public safety work. Graduates are ready to meet the demands of law enforcement agencies and related fields.

The program runs in 12 straight months across three semesters. Students take courses in criminal justice, law, fitness, ethics, and investigation. Four physical fitness courses are required, and students train for law enforcement fitness tests used by Ontario police, RCMP, CBSA, and corrections agencies. The program includes practical training and real-world scenarios to build readiness for employment.

Admission requires an OSSD with most courses at the College, University, or Open level, plus Grade 12 English. Students must be physically fit and able to handle stressful situations. The program starts in September. Students may return to take a second fast track program, earning two diplomas in two years.
