The bachelor's programme in Political Science at Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa spans six semesters and is taught in English, with annual tuition of 9880 PLN, based in Częstochowa, Poland. At undergraduate level, political science programmes typically introduce students to the foundations of political theory, comparative politics, international relations, and public administration, alongside research methods used across the social sciences. Coursework generally covers the structure and function of political institutions, electoral systems, political ideologies, the history of political thought, and the workings of international organisations, giving students a broad grounding before they choose areas of deeper interest. A six-semester bachelor's structure, spread over three years, builds progressively from introductory theory toward more applied and comparative study, often including opportunities for policy analysis exercises or engagement with current political events. Students develop analytical and communication skills relevant to careers in public administration, journalism, non-governmental organisations, international bodies, or further academic study at master's level. Częstochowa, home to Jan Dlugosz University, is a city in southern Poland with an established higher education sector, and the programme's English-medium instruction makes it accessible to students from outside Poland who want an undergraduate qualification in political science without first learning Polish. For prospective students, a bachelor's degree of this kind serves as a foundation for either direct entry into administrative, media, or policy-related work, or for progression into a master's degree in political science, international relations, or a related discipline, building on the broad theoretical and methodological base established during the six-semester course.
