Political Science and Public Administration examines how political systems, institutions, and public organizations function, combining the study of political theory, comparative politics, and international relations with the practical mechanics of public policy and administration. Students explore how governments are structured, how policy is formed and implemented, and how public institutions are managed and held accountable. Coursework typically covers political theory, constitutional and administrative law, public finance, and research methods, building skills in analysis, writing, and policy evaluation. Graduates pursue careers in public administration, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, journalism, and further graduate study in political science, law, or public policy. This bachelor's program is taught in English over 4 years at Pamukkale University in Denizli, Turkey. English-medium instruction allows students to engage directly with the international literature on governance and policy and prepares them for careers or further study in global institutions. Studying in Denizli situates students within a Turkish administrative and civic context while they learn frameworks that apply across political systems. Across the four years, students generally build a grounding in political theory and institutions before moving into more specialized coursework on policy areas of their choosing, often finishing with a research project. The program suits students interested in governance, public life, and how societies organize collective decision-making.
