Political Science (in English) is a bachelor's degree offered by the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Bucharest, one of a small group of English-taught social science programmes at Romania's oldest comprehensive university. The programme covers political theory, comparative politics, public policy and governance, and runs two annual admission sessions, in July and September, for international applicants. Candidates whose prior secondary education was conducted in English are generally exempt from providing a separate language certificate. As with other Romanian bachelor's degrees, the programme follows the Bologna three-cycle structure, and graduates typically progress into public administration, further postgraduate study, NGOs or international organisations based in Bucharest or elsewhere in the EU.
